5. New Game Mode: Paranoia – Trust No One

A brand-new limited-time mode (LTM) called Paranoia arrives with Season 3.

How it works:

  • 6v6 on standard maps (Standoff, Nuketown, Hackney Yard)

  • At the start of each round, one player per team is secretly marked as “The Traitor” (visible only to the traitor and the enemy team’s traitor).

  • The traitor’s goal: eliminate friendly teammates without being caught.

  • Non-traitor players must identify and kill the traitor before being wiped out.

  • If the traitor kills 3 friendlies, they win the round. If the team kills the traitor, the team wins.

Special items:

  • Spyglass (field upgrade): Reveals the traitor’s last known position for 5 seconds.

  • Alibi Decoy (tactical): Creates a ghost copy of yourself to confuse enemies.

Duration: March 5 – April 2, 2026.

6. Map Updates & New Map: Stronghold (Reimagined)

New Map – Stronghold (Black Ops 3 Remaster)

  • Originally from Black Ops 3, now optimized for COD Mobile.

  • Medium-sized map with multi-level castle ruins, underground tunnels, and a central keep.

  • Designed for Domination, Hardpoint, and TDM.

Existing Map Overhauls

  • Standoff: Added destructible wooden doors and new flank routes behind the gas station.

  • Rust: Improved lighting and reduced visual clutter on the top platform.

  • Summit: Fixed several out-of-bounds exploit spots.

7. Weapon Balance Changes (Major)

The developers have listened to community feedback. Here are the key balance adjustments:

Buffs

  • M16: Reduced burst delay (from 0.22s to 0.18s) – now more competitive.

  • Chicom: Increased damage range by 15% – now a viable SMG option.

  • NA-45: Reload speed increased by 20% (still a niche weapon).

  • Shorty: Increased pellet spread consistency – less RNG.

Nerfs

  • CBR4: Reduced damage at range (5-shot kill after 20m instead of 22m) and increased vertical recoil.

  • Kilo 141: Slightly reduced ADS movement speed.

  • SVD: Increased flinch when shot while scoped.

  • K9 Unit (scorestreak): Reduced health from 150 to 120 – now counterable with fewer shots.

Bug Fixes on Weapons

  • Fixed an issue where the Holger 26 with double stack mag would not reload correctly.

  • Corrected Rytec AMR explosive rounds hitbox (now properly deals splash damage).

8. Perks & Scorestreaks Changes

Perks

  • Ghost (revised): Now also hides your death location from the enemy team (no more “skull” marker for 3 seconds).

  • Hard Wired: Now also counters the new “Spyglass” field upgrade.

  • New Perk – “Paranoid” (Red Perk, Tier 14 free): You see a directional warning when an enemy aims at you from outside your FOV (like High Alert but only from the side/back).

Scorestreaks

  • EMP Systems: Reduced cost from 1300 to 1100 points.

  • Cluster Strike: Increased area of effect by 10%.

  • VTOL Escort: Slightly reduced maneuverability to balance its power.

9. Ranked Mode – Season 3 Changes

  • Rank Reset: All players drop one full tier (Legendary → Master V, etc.).

  • New Rank Reward: Templar – “Oathkeeper” (Epic) operator skin for reaching Legendary in Multiplayer.

  • Ranked Map Pool Update: Added Stronghold and removed Cage (temporarily due to spawn trap issues).

  • SR (Skill Rating) Adjustments: Increased SR gain for objective play (capturing points, holding hardpoints) and reduced SR loss for top performers on losing team.

10. Battle Royale Updates

New BR Class – “Watchman”

  • Active Ability – “Overseer”: Reveals enemies within a 60m radius who have been stationary for more than 3 seconds (cooldown 45 seconds).

  • Passive – “Heightened Senses”: Footstep audio volume increased by 20% for the player only.

Map Changes (Isolated)
